Whirlwind is a 300 acre farm just north of Columbus NM. It is being developed as an example of Broadscale Permaculture in a semi-arid (Chihuahua Desert) environment using Holistic Management Planned Grazing, Permaculture Designed Earthworks/Agroforestry system and Keyline Design for soil development and landscape planning to overcome the vagaries of the climate. Whirlwind has very well developed resources and equipment to address the immediate development needs of the site with the results being incredibly profound. |
